Britney Spears and Madonna have many things in common. For one both the pop stars are frequently wrapped in controversy, and most of the time they raise uncomfortable questions on morality and religious ethos with their unpredictable antics. Madonna very recently did a bondage act where she left nothing to the imagination, save for her modesty which was barely covered by the tiniest of G-strings. One picture has her boobs exposed. And she is doing all these at the ripe age of 50! Her young daughter who is in her teens might be faced with a real dilemma at the moment.

That is not all as; Madonna sources claim that the pop star is on the threshold of brokering a lesbian bondage with Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson, of course with the intention to increase their stock value, when Britney embarks on her sell out world tour. Britney for her part is not to be left behind and she can be well called the modern incarnation of Madonna- remember her infamous sex tape- she was also involved in that much publicized lip-lock with Madonna, which ironically catapulted the latter to the top of public imagination and resurrected her flagging career. Britney is still to get hold of her personal life after her divorce from Kevin Federline, and follow up acts like a tonsured head, alcohol abuse are just the after affects.

Despite all these incidents the public can’t but love the stars for their incredible talent and awe-inspiring persona. That Madonna has recently broken all previous record held by a solo artist, both male and female included, grossing $280 million is indication enough of her clout and popularity. Likewise for Britney whose tour tickets for the coming world tour sold out in a record time. Britney Spears, as everyone knows, has her own Britney Spears Curious Eau de Parfum line, and Madonna not so long ago launched her perfume line as well. In another similarity between the stars, Britney and Madonna have been crowned Most Attractive Woman of last year and Most Elegant Woman title respectively by hellomagazine.com readers. Britney almost polarized the poll claiming an astonishing 43 per cent voting, while Madonna got 27 per cent approval ratings.  It is not for nothing that Britney is by far the most popular and sought for pop artist in contemporary times.
