Jane Goody, the star of reality show Big brother in 2007 has been diagnosed with cancer and she is living her last few days. The young British woman had been in the limelight during the show, when she passed racist remarks against a Bollywood actor, who also appeared on the show. Jane’s remarks did not go down well and stirred up lots of controversy, with many viewers of Asian origin denouncing her racist comments. Jane was forced to tend an apology to the young Asian actor from Mumbai.
She has decided to die in full glare of the media and television viewers as she gets all set to marry her boyfriend, Jack Tweed, who is a former convict on Sunday. With doctors giving her only months to live, Jane has hit upon the idea of living her last days on television and in the newspapers. The British Justice Minister has been kind enough to extend the bail conditions of the bridegroom so the two can spend their wedding night together.
Jane Goody who is noted for her foul mouth has always been forthright with her views and she soon became celebrity when media and celebrity magazines began to highlight all her outbursts. Appearing on the reality show as an unknown face, she has since endorsed her own Jade Goody Controversial eau de parfum, and sold her rights to a television channel for a large sum of money. After her recent announcement of here terminal cervical cancer, the nation has become sympathetic to her. Everyone from the prime Minster to the ordinary television viewer is concerned about her failing health.
