Rihanna is in hospital after being beaten up allegedly by boyfriend Chris Brown on the night of the Pre-Grammy awards party. Both were seen enjoying themselves at the party, but the trouble started after they set off in their car. Both were seen leaving the premises of the Beverly Hills party in a rented Lamborghini on 8 February.

Soon 911 received frantic calls from a lady who was screaming for help. Police officials who got to the scene of crime found Rihanna in a very bad shape. Chris brown had fled the scene. She had a battered face with a swollen head and bruises covered with blood. These were reported by news agencies and the media had no proof by way of pictures.

A celebrity website TMZ has published the very first picture of the battered American pop star. She is seen with a battered face that shows welts on her forehead, just above her eyebrows on either side, bruise marks on her cheeks and cuts on her lips with general swelling of her entire face. To be honest the terrible photo looked as if she had undergone a few rounds in a boxing match and got hit by someone wearing Reebok boxing gloves. This picture is believed to be an authentic image of a badly bruised Rihanna who was found lying unconscious in the car.

Meanwhile, Brown has surrendered at the police station and has been booked on charges of assault. He has since posted a bail application of $50,000 and is out. Radio stations across the nation are blacklisting Brown and refusing to play any of his songs.
