TMZ, one of the web’s largest celebrity news and gossip sites, which published a photo of the battered Rihanna, has been charged with having got the photo through dubious means. Harvey Levin the executive producer has denied all such charges and claims that the picture was acquired though legal means. He went on air in Fox News on the Record Show, Friday night to make the announcement. Plenty of controversy has been brewing ever since the photo made its appearance on the website claiming someone from the Los Angeles Police Department had leaked the picture for a substantial amount of money. Rihanna is in hospital after being beaten up allegedly by boyfriend Chris Brown on the night of the Pre-Grammy awards party. Both were seen enjoying themselves at the party, but the trouble started after they set off in their car. Pop Superstar Rihanna is in hospital nursing her bruises supposedly inflicted by pop star and long time boyfriend Chris Brown. She had earlier accused her boyfriend of assault. Both were seen in the happiest of spirits during the pre-Grammy party Saturday night. It is believed that prior the assault, the two were involved in a car accident but police are yet to confirm this incident. Read more…

R&B singer Chris Brown turned himself in to the Los Angeles police around 7 p.m. Sunday. Chris Brown had been involved in a felony battery investigation. After his surrender, detectives interrogated him over the incident. LAPD officer Karen Smith who gave out the news about Brown’s surrender said that the young singer was arrested around 6.30p.m. PST and was later booked for criminal threat at 7.41p.m. He was released after a bail for $50,000 was posted.
